Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. She has produced more than 20 studio albums. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk and alternative rock although it has additional influence from hip beat and jazz. Ani Difranco is believed as a feminist icon as well as a Grammy award-winning. Being one of the women's first artists of the 1990s, DiFranco founded her record label. DiFranco was a born on 23rd September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father was Italian heritage and her mother was originally from Montreal. Ani Difrasco wrote and recorded the song "32 Flavors". The song debuted on DiFranco's 1995 sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl. This track appears on the film's soundtrack the Canadian romantic drama Better Than Chocolate from 1999.
