Annie Murphy, also known as Anne Frances Murphy, was born in 1986. The Canadian actress is based in Hollywood. The main character she played was of Alexis Rose from the CBC sitcom Schitt's Mill, the show that premiered in 2014 and finished in the year 2020. Her performance was well-received by critics, and she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Both of her parents were teachers. Elmwood School Ottawa was where she first began to perform on the stage. Her next step was to enroll at Concordia University and pursue a stage performance diploma. After that, she took courses at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory in which acting classes were taught.
